Shawn Lowrey is the sixth Lowrey to call Mississippi home and the fourth fortunate enough to live in the Pine Belt. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998, then attended Tulane Law School, graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2001. During his legal studies he also studied abroad at the University of Wales, Swansea and the University of Cambridge.

Since his admission to the Mississippi Bar, Shawn has litigated in Chancery practice with an emphasis on domestic and estate matters — divorce, child custody, grandparents’ rights, third-party custody, and equity practice.
